Beef Stuffed Peppers
4 medium Green Peppers 1 large Egg, slightly beaten 1 (14 oz.) jar Spaghetti Sauce 1 cup Seasoned Croutons, crushed 1 tsp. Dried Onion Flakes 1/4 tsp. Pepper 3/4 to 1 lb. Ground Beef grated Pamesan Cheese for garnish |
Cut off tops of peppers and remove seeds and membranes. Combine egg, 3/4 cup sauce, croutons, onion flakes, pepper and meat. Stuff peppers with mixture; place peppers in lightly greased 8" sq. dish. Cover loosely with wax paper or paper towel. Microwave on high for 12-14 mins. Turn dish after 6 mins. Spoon 1 tbsp. Sauce over each pepper. Sprinkle with cheese. Heat remaining sauce to serve with peppers. |
